Welcome to Seoul International School (SIS)

We are glad that you are considering SIS as your school of choice. Located south of the Han river, SIS is one of the oldest international schools in Korea having been established in 1973. While we welcome students throughout the school year, our main admissions season is between January and March when we enroll students for the next academic year. Our application opens on January 9, 2026.

Teachers spend their time building relationships with each student. This is a hallmark of the SIS experience. Teachers also spend time volunteering, coaching, and tutoring after the school day is over.

Extracurricular Activities

We have a large and diverse student body and they love to take part in clubs, sports and activities. SIS is able to offer many extracurricular activities. We have everything from chess, forensics, tennis, soccer, basketball, swimming, Global Issues Network, MUN, outstanding music and choral programs and much more. Something is available for everyone.

Admissions Process and Dates

Information regarding availability of spaces for the current and upcoming school years may be obtained by contacting the SIS Admissions Office at >admissions@siskorea.org.

The application for the 2026-27 school year opens on January 9, 2026. We will begin inviting applicants for assessments soon after. In grade levels which are at capacity, admissions decisions will be communicated after we complete the re-enrollment process for currently enrolled students. 

The deadline for returning students to confirm re-enrollment and pay the re-enrollment fee is March 4, 2026. SIS will continue to review applications and enroll students throughout the school year.
